Join our full-day Writers Conference to learn what it takes to make writing a career, how to nail your story ending, the basics of publicizing your book, how to leverage the power of plotting, and reader's advisory for writers. Bring a copy of the first page of your book* for a chance to get expert feedback from authors whose roles extend to literary agent, editor, and book coach. Books available for purchase, author signings, and raffle giveaways. Lunch is on your own.

1:10 p.m.: Reader's Advisory for Writers - Cari Dubiel
2:10 p.m.: Plot Can Be Taught! - Marie Vibbert
3:10 p.m.: 1st Page Panel* - Cari Dubiel, author and reviewer for Booklist, Jacqueline Lipton, author and literary agent with the Tobias Literary Agency, and Marie Vibbert, award-winning Science Fiction author.
4:00 p.m.: Raffle - stay for a chance to win a free book!
*SUBMISSION GUIDELINES for the 1st Page Panel: To submit a first page for possible consideration by our panel, please bring four printed copies of your first page with a maximum of 250 words, double-spaced, in Times New Roman 12 point font, to the registration desk at the start of the conference. Include your story title and genre at the top of the page but please do not include your name as entries will be read anonymously.
