Join us during the month of December for weekly playtime at the library! Engage with other caregivers while children play, dance, and make crafts. Intended for children age 0-5. 

Help develop early literacy skills by having fun with Play-Doh!

Sign up for a 10-minute time slot for a free digital family portrait taken by library staff in a cozy winter setting.

Celebrate the season with cozy, handmade charm! Learn the basics of needle felting as you create your own festive ornaments—choose from snowmen, trees, stars, or other holiday favorites.

Kick off your holiday season on the Square in Lodi with a visit from Santa, reindeer from Spring Mist Farms, horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, crafts, and plenty of treats!

Presenter Jean Cormany will teach beginners sign language and Deaf culture. Attendance at all 6 classes is recommended but NOT required. Ages 10 and up welcome.  

Choose from different wintery patterns to create a festive felt plush.

Use a holiday greeting card to create a tree ornament. Bring one of your own or use one of ours.

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus while Buckeye vocal music groups entertain you! Enjoy seasonal crafts and games too.

Get in the holiday mood! Saxophone and piano duo Brad Wagner and Anthony Fuoco will presnt a concert of jazz standards and holiday favorites.

Discuss popular manga titles and enjoy snacks. Call for titles. 

Stop by the Highland Library to crochet or knit with other crafters in your community! No formal instruction provided. There will be plenty of books and yarn to go around!
