Event Details

Take a journey into the world of coffee with Goldberry Roasting Company's head roaster, Doug Cooper. Participants will go on a deep dive to learn all about the origins of coffee, how it's grown, why it tastes the way it does and the factors that go into how professionals' grade coffee. This coffee 101 class will be fun and informative for the coffee-curious and will include:

  • learning the effects of “terroir” on coffee flavor.
  • understanding the flavor characteristics of the major coffee growing regions.
  • learning more about coffee growers and the challenges they face.
  • sampling coffees from different growing regions.
  • an open conversation on all things Coffee with Doug Cooper our lead roaster.
